Carnegie Dunfermline Trust Supports Singergie Choir with £4,500 Grant

The Carnegie Dunfermline Trust is delighted to announce the approval of a £4,500 grant to Singergie Choir, helping to support the choir’s ongoing work within the Dunfermline community. This funding will contribute towards the cost of venue hire, music licensing, and essential printing, ensuring the group can continue to deliver high‑quality, inclusive musical opportunities for local singers.

Supporting Community Music and Connection

Singergie Choir plays an important role in fostering creativity, confidence and community spirit. With members of all ages and backgrounds, the choir offers a welcoming environment where people can come together, develop their musical skills, and enjoy the wellbeing benefits of collective singing.

By covering key operational costs, the Trust’s grant allows Singergie to focus on what they do best - bringing people together through music.

Helping Sustain a Valuable Local Arts Group

This funding will help the choir to:

  • Secure regular rehearsal space, ensuring stability and accessibility for members

  • Purchase proper music licensing, enabling the group to perform a diverse and engaging repertoire

  • Cover printing and materials, essential for rehearsals and performances

These practical supports are vital in helping grassroots arts organisations thrive, particularly those that rely heavily on volunteer time and community participation.

A Continued Commitment to Local Culture

The Carnegie Dunfermline Trust is proud to support Singergie Choir as part of our ongoing commitment to enriching cultural life across Dunfermline. Groups like Singergie bring joy, connection and creativity to our community and we are pleased to help ensure their work can continue to flourish.
