Supporting Local Heroes: New Uniforms for Food for Your Futures Community Pantry

The Trustees are delighted to award £1,500 to the Food for Your Futures Community Pantry (FFYFCP), in Touch, to fund a full set of new volunteer uniforms. This investment recognises the essential role volunteers play in keeping the pantry running smoothly and supporting households across Dunfermline.

The funding will provide embroidered fleeces, t‑shirts and aprons, ensuring volunteers are clearly identifiable during collections and day‑to‑day operations. These new uniforms will not only help protect volunteers’ own clothing but will also make it easier for pantry users to recognise who is on hand to help when accessing services.

By strengthening both the professionalism and visibility of the team, this support reinforces the vital community impact the pantry delivers. FFYFCP continues to be a trusted lifeline for many local families, and equipping volunteers with the right clothing helps them carry out their work with confidence, comfort and pride.
