Disability Sports Fife
From pickleball to short tennis, table tennis, and tennis, the sessions offered fun, fitness, and friendship in a welcoming environment. Thanks to a £1,500 grant from the Trust, the programme was able to provide expert coaching and essential equipment, helping to break down barriers and open up new opportunities for active participation.
Waterski & Wakeboard Scotland
With a £840 grant from the Trustees, young adults supported by Fairway Fife, a peer mentoring charity, took to the water for an exhilarating waterskiing and wakeboarding programme.
Fife Artistic Swimming Club
A £1,500 grant from the Trustees has helped keep the rhythm alive for one of Scotland’s only seven Artistic Swimming Clubs — right here in Fife! The funding supported the purchase of a new music system, including a specialist underwater speaker, essential for training sessions where moving to music is at the heart of the sport.
Fife Council - Big Light Switch-On
Thanks to a generous grant of £1,200 from the Trustees, families were treated to two free funfair rides at the Dunfermline Big Light Switch On event on Sunday 17 November 2024. The rides, set at the welcoming entrance of Pittencrieff Park, brought joy and excitement to children and families from 1pm right through to after 6pm.
Studio 11 Dance Creative
The Trustees were pleased to award a £250 grant to support the travel costs of five dancers from Studio 11 Dance Creative, enabling them to participate in the Dance World Cup held in Prague in July 2024.
Why Not? Musical Theatre Company
A £1,000 grant helped bring the magic of Oliver! to life at Carnegie Hall in April 2024, supporting costume hire and purchase for a vibrant youth theatre production
Bruce 750 Festival
The Trust was proud to award a £7,500 grant to support the thrilling jousting events at the spectacular Bruce 750 Festival, held in Pittencrieff Park, Dunfermline, on 1–2 June 2024.
Brucefield Tenant & Residents Association
As part of an exciting regeneration project at St Leonard’s Park, the Brucefield Tenants & Residents Association received a £3,100 grant from Carnegie Dunfermline Trust, to create a vibrant mural on the sports changing pavilion—now a striking landmark visible from Queensferry Road.
