The Trustees awarded a grant of £2000 towards the capital costs of creating a new garden for the exclusive use of hospice patients and their visitors in an outdoor enclosed space of the hospital.

Designed to offer a paved circulation core accessible to patients in beds or in wheelchairs, with four semi-private sitting areas, the garden offers a peaceful sensory experience. The garden is maintained by a team of volunteers.
