🚜🌱 From Classroom to Countryside: Learning in the Field! 🌾📚

Thanks to an £800 grant from the Trust, S3 Geography pupils swapped their desks for wellies on a hands-on field trip to Solsgirth Home Farm in April 2024.

During the visit, pupils took part in a series of interactive workshops, gaining real-world insights into modern farming practices, the challenges of running a farm as a business, and the vital role farmers play as environmental stewards.

The trip was completely free of charge for pupils and brought classroom learning to life - connecting geography with sustainability, food production, and the future of our planet.
